Let’s start this off by telling your it was about 25 degrees in my garage when I started this. A fresh coat of snow blanketed my driveway. So first things first.
An hour before I was ready to get started I fired up the propane heater. A nice toasty garage is a must.

Last week I picked up some new primed mirror caps from the dealer.  Today I painted them and waited for them to dry.  The anticipation was killing me.  I mean I’ve been talking about getting rid of the chrome caps for months.
Flat Blacking these was my goal.  Pulled out some rattle can, satin flat back [...]

I am beginning to think that putting an extra $200 worth of TPMS thingys on my Clubman’s Winter rims and tires is a huge waste of money.  After all aren’t they going to come on every morning anyway?  I may skip them.

My front cigarette is filled with a Griffin Technology USB Adapter.  I use this unit because it allows you take off the USB cable when you no charging anything.  It also is great for passengers that might carry a Blackberry,  They can just pull out a any 4pin USB cable and give their phone a [...]

I got to the office late today and to my surprise the stuff I ordered from newministuff.com was already here.  I ordered a frick’in week ago.  I was thinking it was going to take 30 days or something like that.  A frick’in week.  That is so incredible!

I picked up the Clubman this afternoon.  OMG – it looks amazing.  I took a few pictures, but nothing did it justice in the light I had to work with.

JCW front bumper
de-striped front and rear
a larger clear bra on the hood
the front bumper ’s paint is now fully clear bar’ed
no front plate and no holes [...]

I picked up two of these this week.  The Clubman will be using this in anticipation of a shipment that should be here mid October.  I try and buy two of these so I can clean them once a month.  One is drying while the other is in the car.

2008-2009 S Model K&N 33-2936 [...]

I know quite a few of you have been waiting for my review on the new Clubman exhaust that was recently released from NM Engineering.  Please be patient the Pavement Gator incident has push my testing back a week or so.  I can assure you that the exhaust is excellent.  The sound is deep but [...]

The final estimates are in from the Pavement Gator incident.  State Farm estimated the damage at about $2400.  That did NOT included a new hood.  None of the crumple zones on the hood were moved so I somewhat agree with the decision.
The bottom line is I’ll have $1400 to put toward the fixes.  I got [...]

When I first got word that I was getting an NM Engineering exhaust to review on my Clubman i was more then ecstatic.  Well today it arrived.  I put together a small video of the unboxing.

Tomorrow about 8am, I am taking up to the shop and using the lift to get it fitted and welded [...]

The 5280driver garage is going to be very, very busy during the next few days.

Tomorrow our demo unit of the NM exhaust arrives.  An email just hit the inbox notifying us the MiniDoMore hitch will arrive Thursday.
