I love a good Road Trip.  If someone would pay me, I’d drive all around the country looking at sites and writing.  I just love driving.  That’s why this thread on the Samba has caught my eye.

Just got this from a good friend and client.  Candis, who owns DenverDeafInterpreter, was thinking of my wife and I this morning.  Yes we are ramping down from our long weekend with the Mini Folks and got this little burst of VW love.
Thanks for thinking of us Candis.  Nicole misses her Ghia now.

The black Stayfast canvas boot cover came for the 1970 Karmin Ghia today.  I bought it used off Samba.  The boot usually sells for $399 new, but I picked up the “used” one for $165.  What a smoking deal.  The wife and I had to put the snaps on.  It had NEVER been used.

We closed down work around 12-12:30 today.  That left me an opportunity to get started early on the Ghia motor pull.
