TPMS are useless on Winter tires sets

2

I am beginning to think that putting an extra $200 worth of TPMS thingys on my Clubman’s Winter rims and tires is a huge waste of money.  After all aren’t they going to come on every morning anyway?  I may skip them.

I switched mine, and have not had trouble, just set them to 32psi on a very cold morning, and now they don’t come on at all. Just park the car outside at night, fill up the tires in the morning before you start the car up, 32psi all the way around, and you will be fine.

I have always been told never inflate on a cold morning. However 32psi, even after it heats up, is not going to make that much difference in total psi. Thanks for the tip Jon.
