The DDM Race Intake came today.  Very impressive looking.  The parts came well packed and the instructions are top notch.  I won’t post pictures, we’ve all seen them, or look here.

A few things I need to bring to the forefront.The kit instructs you to remove the grill in the Clubman S’ hood scoop.  I live in the Denver area where they us sand/gravel to help melt the snow.  I was afraid of getting those remnants and other road debris scoped up and tossed into the air box.  I decided to get the Dremel out and just clear out some the area closed off by the OEM grill.

I used this bit on the Dremel.

Results where pretty clean.

I took it for a quick test drive after everything was complete.  I must say it didn’t feel any different,  I could definitely hear the turbo roll off.  I will post some more after and extended test drive.
